When we found out that our company was hosting a running carnival at Gardens by the Bay we knew that we had to do it. Hundreds of employees and their families gathered in the east Gardens to run a 10k, 5k, or 2k. It was great for Derek and I to meet each other's coworkers and have a little fun with them outside of the office.
We chose to run the 5k which was a good plan since we are still getting acclimated to the humidity and have not had the time to adequately train. Overall the event was a great success and we had a great time.
